Power fades.
Legacy remains.
A persistent online world of Families, territory, politics and legacy—set in the criminal underworld of the 1930s.
Follow the game as it takes shape—and be among the first to know when the doors open.
Memorandum · from the developer
I’m building a persistent online criminal world shaped by its players.
Cosa Nostra: The Commission is a text-based strategy RPG. You guide a single persistent character through a living city server—earning money, influence, territory and political power through planning, timing, diplomacy and the right allies. Operations resolve on timers, so a well-laid plan wins on your schedule.
The world moves in seasons. Each one opens a fresh struggle for territory, businesses and Family power, and its outcome is recorded forever in the city’s Hall of Fame. Your character, reputation and story continue across seasons—empires change hands, and the names that built them live on.

The promise
Become someone the city remembers.
You arrive with a little money, a few contacts and a name nobody knows. What happens next is yours to write: rise through a Family’s ranks, or found your own and lead it—rewarding loyalty, managing ambition, answering betrayal. Every decision spends time and resources, tips your hand, and opens the next opportunity.
- Plan the job
- Scout the target, weigh reward against risk and heat, then commit your money, crew and timing.
- Build your empire
- Turn dirty money into legitimate businesses, businesses into territory, and territory into political reach.
- Play the politics
- Forge alliances, broker truces and trade favors—then pick the right moment to call them in.
- Win the information war
- Informants, wiretaps and whispers decide conflicts before the first shot. Learn what—and whom—to trust.
- Leave a legacy
- Every season crowns new powers, and the Hall of Fame keeps the names that shaped the city.
